UnZipTool Software Licence and Service Agreement

This is a translation of the Chinese Software Licence and Service Agreement, provided for convenience.
In case of any discrepancy, the Chinese version prevails.
Important notice
Please read this agreement carefully before using the software. By downloading, installing or using UnZipTool (the "Software"), you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted all of its terms.
If you do not agree with any part of this agreement, please stop using the Software and delete it immediately.
1. Definitions

| Issuer | The party that provides you with a licence key (usually the Developer) |
| Free version | The version usable without a licence key |
| Full version | The version whose features are unlocked by a licence key |
| Licence key | A digitally signed licence issued by the Issuer and bound to a specific device |
2. Grant of licence
2.1 Free version
The Developer grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software.
2.2 Full version
Once you hold a valid licence key, the Developer additionally grants you the right to use the full feature set on the device the key is bound to, for the period that key covers.
2.3 What you may do
- Install and use the Software on devices within the licensed scope
- Copy the Software for backup purposes
- Share the Software with others unchanged (you may not modify it or remove copyright notices)
2.4 What you may not do
- Decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the Software (except where mandatory law provides otherwise)
- Modify, translate, adapt or create derivative works from the Software
- Rent, lend, sell or sublicense the Software
- Remove or obscure any copyright notice, trademark or agreement text in the Software
- Publish a licence key publicly or use it on devices beyond the licensed scope
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
3. Differences between the free and full versions
3.1 Functional differences
The free version is not feature-crippled — every format and every capability is open. Only the size of a single operation is limited:

The full version removes all of these limits.
3.2 The Developer may adjust the free-tier limits
The Developer may adjust the specific free-tier numbers as circumstances require. Licence keys already issued are unaffected — any adjustment applies only to the free version.
3.3 Licence keys are bound to a device
A licence key is bound to your "machine code". Replacing the motherboard or reinstalling Windows may change that code, in which case the original key may stop working and you will need to contact the Issuer for a replacement.
Tip: always save your licence key before deactivating.
The key itself is the complete licence — importing it again restores activation.
4. Disclaimer
4.1 Provided "as is"
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
4.2 Risks of file processing
Please back up important files before use. The Developer is not liable for:
- Unexpected extraction results caused by an already-corrupted archive
- Failure to extract an encrypted archive because the password is wrong
- Operations failing due to insufficient disk space or permissions
- Failures caused by third-party software locking a file
- Files being overwritten, lost or damaged
4.3 Special notes on document conversion
Document conversion depends on third-party software installed on your machine (Microsoft Office or LibreOffice). Therefore:
- The fidelity of the converted layout depends on that third-party software; the Developer cannot guarantee an exact match with the original document
- If you do not have such software installed, the feature is unavailable — this is a feature limitation, not a defect
- Problems caused by the third-party software's own defects or version changes are outside the Developer's responsibility
- Conversions involving complex elements such as layout, fonts, formulas or charts may need manual review
4.4 Lost licence keys
The Developer is not responsible for safekeeping your licence key. If it is lost, contact the Issuer, who will verify the purchase record and reissue it.
4.5 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss or business interruption.
5. Intellectual property
Copyright, trademark rights and all other intellectual property rights in the Software belong to the Developer.
This agreement does not transfer any intellectual property rights; it grants only a licence to use.
The open-source components used by the Software (SharpCompress, CommunityToolkit.Mvvm, ModernWpfUI, the .NET Runtime and others) are governed by their respective open-source licences, and their rights belong to their respective holders.
6. Privacy
The Software does not connect to the network and does not collect any personal information.

7. Termination
The licence granted by this agreement terminates automatically if:
- You breach any term of this agreement and fail to remedy it after being notified
- You deactivate your licence and destroy all copies
On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies of it.
8. Changes to this agreement
The Developer reserves the right to update this agreement in new versions of the Software.
Important: the Software does not connect to the network, so the Developer cannot notify you of changes. Please review the agreement text supplied with major version updates.
Continuing to use a new version constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules).
Disputes arising from this agreement should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to a people's court with jurisdiction where the Developer is located.
10. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of this agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- The Developer's failure to exercise any right under this agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right
- This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the Software
